The China-Singapore cooperation science and technology project "Sino-Singapore Tianjin Eco-City Passive Building Key Technology research and Comprehensive Demonstration" project kick-off meeting was held
On December 8, 2016, the China-Singapore cooperation science and technology project "Sino-Singapore Tianjin Eco-City Passive Building key Technology research and Comprehensive Demonstration" was held in Tianjin Eco-City. The project "Research and Comprehensive Demonstration of Key Technologies of Passive Buildings in Sino-Singapore Tianjin Eco-City" is the most complex project in the third phase of Sino-Singapore cooperation in science and technology, and involves the most extensive fields. The research unit includes Tianjin Eco-City Public Housing Company, Tianjin University and Tianjin Eco-City Green Building Research Institute. The new partner is Singapore Shengyu International Private Company, one of the largest urban planning and architectural design companies in Singapore. The company, formerly known as the Singapore Housing and Development Board, has been responsible for the planning and architectural design of all 26 modern towns across the island for more than 40 years. The parties discussed the research content of the two sides under the China-Singapore cooperation framework, combined with the passive house demonstration project of Tianjin Eco-City, conducted in-depth research on the key technologies involved in the process of architectural design, construction, testing and evaluation and material selection, and prepared design guidelines and atlas, construction specifications, acceptance and evaluation procedures and applicable product catalogs. Finally, the appropriate technical system and management norms can be formed to guide the design, construction, acceptance and operation of passive houses in northern China.
